Zahra had her emergency surgery.

We were extremely worried she would not make it. Zahra had not eaten for a full week and her body was overwhelmed by infection. She was literally a ticking time bomb. Her uterus could have burst at any moment and she would have died.

Zahra underwent two surgeries.

The vets removed both of her eyes to eliminate the severe infection that was causing her so much pain. They also removed her uterus, which was extremely enlarged, inflamed, and completely filled with pus.

Thankfully, Zahra woke up from surgery.

She is still at the hospital. She still does not understand what is happening to her, and she is very weak.

Right now she is on IV fluids and strong antibiotics. We are waiting and praying for the moment she starts eating so she can regain strength and begin her recovery.

Please keep Zahra in your thoughts.
Thank you for helping make Zahra’s life-saving surgery possible.
