Menkhol is doing much better, and his wounds are h

Menkhol is doing much better, and his wounds are healing well. The surgeon had to readjust some of the staples on his head, but thankfully, his recovery is progressing well.

Unfortunately, not a single person has offered to foster him💔

Menkhol is very sad at the shelter. He doesn’t understand what has happened to him or why he is there. After everything he has been through, all he needs is a safe, loving place where he can finally feel secure.

Despite everything, Menkhol remains the sweetest, gentlest soul. He deserves so much better🥺

Please help us cover Menkhol’s care and share his story. Maybe, just maybe, it will reach someone kind enough to open their home to him.

We will provide EVERYTHING needed for his care. Fostering Menkhol comes with no financial burden whatsoever. All we ask is that you give him the love, comfort, and attention he so desperately needs❤️

This is Rocky. Barely 2 months old, and already a victim of the cruelty that the dogs of Karantina face every single day💔

Someone apparently tried to wrap a steel wire tightly around his tiny neck, cutting deep into his skin and leaving a terrible wound all the way around it. We don’t know who did this to him, or why. We only know that someone caused pain to a defenseless little puppy and left him on the streets to suffer.

And the most heartbreaking part? Rocky came to us himself💔

As if he knew we could help him. As if he was trying to show us his wound, begging us to understand how much pain he was in.

We immediately rushed him to the hospital, where he received treatment. His wound was not stitched, and he will need weekly checkups and continuous care to make sure it heals properly and doesn’t become infected.

Rocky is now safe in a foster home.

But Rocky is just one of hundreds.

This is the heartbreaking reality of Karantina.

Almost every single day, we come across another dog who is injured, sick, abused, or desperately in need of help. We rush them to hospitals, treat them, do everything we possibly can to save them, and then, as heartbreaking as it is, we often have no choice but to return them to the very same streets where they were hurt.

Can you imagine how painful that is? To save a dog today, only to send him back to a place where he may not survive tomorrow?

This is why we never stop begging for help.

We beg for donations to feed them. We beg for support to spay and neuter them, so fewer puppies are born into this suffering. We beg for help to pay their hospital bills. We beg for foster homes, for adoptions, for anything that could give them a safer life.

And yet, despite our constant appeals, the support we receive is nowhere near enough to cover even their most basic needs.

We cannot protect these dogs alone. We cannot keep rescuing them, treating their wounds, and sending them back into danger, knowing that tomorrow we might find them suffering all over again.

Rocky is only a baby. He should be playing, exploring, and discovering the world.

Halo was rescued during the war this year from the south of Lebanon and had to have both both of his eyes removed.

He may be blind, but he’s friendly, sweet and full of love to give.

He needs a responsible loving family to give him a safe space he can call home.

When we first found Elsa, she was next to a garage

When we first found Elsa, she was next to a garage, desperately trying to drink water mixed with car oil from the street💔

We took her into our care, hoping to give her the life she deserved. But shelter life was simply not for Elsa. She became terribly depressed, her health started deteriorating, and despite our efforts, we couldn’t find her a foster home.

Until someone very special stepped in❤️

One of our wonderful adopters from Mexico was spending some time in Lebanon and kindly offered to foster Elsa while she was here. And that’s when everything changed.

Her cousin back in Mexico saw Elsa, fell completely in love with her, and decided that this little girl belonged with her🥹

So when the time came for our amazing adopter to return to Mexico, Elsa had a ticket too. A one-way ticket to her forever home❤️

And just like that, our second APC baby made it all the way to Mexico! 🇲🇽

Today, Elsa is living the life we always dreamed of for her. She’s the happiest little princess, completely spoiled, adored, and absolutely obsessed with her mama. And the feeling is mutual❤️

To think that this is the same little girl who was once trying to survive beside a garage, who slowly lost her will to live in a shelter, and who now knows nothing but love, comfort, and happiness…

This is why we never give up.

To our amazing adopter who opened her home, carried Elsa across the world, and made this beautiful ending possible, and to Elsa’s wonderful mama who loves her beyond words: THANK YOU❤️

Elsa, you have no idea how happy it makes us to see you living your best life. You deserve every second of it, our little Mexican princess.

He just sits there, facing the wall. He won’t even look at us.

His body is covered in wounds, but seeing him like this feels like something inside him is hurting even more.

We don’t know what he understands or what he’s feeling. We just know that this is heartbreaking to watch.

For almost four years, we have been caring for the

For almost four years, we have been caring for the dogs of Karantina. We know the packs, we know their territories, and we recognize the faces waiting for us every week.

We had never seen Menkhol before.

Karantina is home to established packs of stray dogs who are extremely territorial. Menkhol arrived as a stranger, confused and completely defenseless in unfamiliar territory.

The pack attacked him viciously. Not in one place. His entire body was attacked.

The question is: Who left him there?😞
Who decided that Karantina is safe for their dog!!

When we reached him, Menkhol was covered in wounds and blood. His body had been bitten and torn in multiple places, and he had lost so much blood that his glucose had dropped to a dangerously low level.

Thankfully, Menkhol does not currently need a blood transfusion, but his fight is far from over. His wounds need extensive treatment, his body needs to recover from the blood loss and trauma, and he will need ongoing veterinary care until he is strong again.

Our hospital bills are already overwhelming and we still didn’t raise enough money to close a quarter of our $6,000 debt😞. But looking at Menkhol, leaving him there was simply not an option.

Please help us save him.
