Description:Biscuit is a 3-year-old cat who was found alone on the street, shivering and visibly unwell. The woman who rescued him mentioned he may have had a seizure two days earlier—while this hasn’t been confirmed, it is being taken seriously. Biscuit is currently dealing with severe anemia and heart problems, which have caused fluid to accumulate in both his abdomen and chest. The vet believes these symptoms are related to his heart condition. He tested negative for FIV and FELV, and while the agglutination test for FIP came back negative and his bloodwork doesn’t confirm FIP, it also doesn’t fully rule it out. He also has a fungal infection on his ears and soft stools. Biscuit has now started heart medication and is under close veterinary supervision at APC. Please consider opening your heart for Biscuit and giving him the second chance he deserves.

𝐈𝐫𝐢𝐬, 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐜𝐮𝐞 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐊𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐚.
We’ve been feeding Iris for over a year. She wasn’t originally from karantina — she showed up one day, looking very lost and very sad. We believe she was abandoned. She tried to join the local dog pack, but they didn’t accept her. They attacked her a few times, but thankfully the injuries weren’t too bad.

Then Iris got pregnant and gave birth to 6 beautiful puppies. Sadly, 2 were hit by a truck. Another one was poisoned. The rest just disappeared one after one💔— we don’t know what happened to them.

After losing all her babies, Iris completely gave up. She stopped eating. She stopped moving. For two weeks, she just lay there in silence. That’s when we knew we had to act.

We rescued her and took her in for treatment. Iris has many parasites, and her blood results show that her platelets are very low. She’s weak and needs urgent care. She also needs to be spayed and vaccinated.

Iris has suffered so much. She needs a chance at a new life — safe, healthy, and loved.

We believe Simi was waiting to feel love and safety before he let go. The situation was always critical, but stable. Yesterday, things started to worsen. He was in pain and struggling to breathe. The vets advised it was best to help him cross the Rainbow Bridge, and we agreed. We stayed by his side. He was kissed, hugged, and loved until his last breath. Simi likely never knew love before. He was a stray. Someone hit him with their car and didn’t even stop. But thanks to @beirutpethospital , especially @nadiyamakary , he finally felt what it means to be cared for. 𝐅𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐅𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐨𝐦 🐶

Teddy was once chained in the rain, nothing but skin and bones. We rescued him and he stayed with us for two years—our good boy, our butler, everyone’s favorite!

Then one day, an amazing woman named Bernadette took him in and fostered him in Mallorca, Spain, where he started living the best life. Teddy was later adopted by a wonderful couple, and guess what? His new dad is a famous DJ!

Now Teddy is touring the world—Germany, Ibiza, and more. If we had ever dreamed of the perfect happy ending for Teddy, this would be it 💫

We miss him every single day, but our hearts are full of joy for him.

We were happy to welcome @lwis.cis to APC recently. They visited us several times with different groups of students. The children got to meet our animals and learn about the lives of dogs and cats, and the importance of animal welfare through short presentations.

We are very grateful to the school for raising awareness among its students and for the generous donations they brought to our shelter. This is how change begins—and how abuse stops.

𝐓𝐚𝐜𝐨 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐅𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐞

𝐓𝐚𝐜𝐨 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐅𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧
Taco is one of our latest rescue. When we found him at Karantina, he was just 4 months old, being attacked by older dogs and had bite wounds around his neck. He’s now 6 months old, sterilized, vaccinated and safe—but he still needs your help.

Recently, Taco had a cyst on his belly. It was removed during his sterilization, and a drain was placed to help him heal.

We need to pay $280 for his initial medical tests and $180 for his drain and neutering—a total of $460.
Can you help us cover these costs?

Also, we need a foster home for him until the drain is removed. Just a safe, quiet place—no extra care needed.

Taco is tiny and adorable, with the sweetest personality and big ears!

𝐔𝐩𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐨𝐧 𝐁𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐮𝐢𝐭, 𝐌𝐫. 𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐲, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐁𝐞𝐫𝐥𝐢𝐧
Biscuit has left the hospital. He is being treated for heart disease and FIP. Sadly, he is very down and barely eating. We are doing our best to help him, but what he really needs now is a loving foster home. Taking care of him is easy—we will guide you through everything.

Mr. Grey is doing much better! His feeding tube and stitches were removed, and he is now eating on his own. We are so happy with his progress.

Berlin also left the hospital. He had a rhinoscopy, which was thankfully covered thanks to your support. He is now recovering at APC, taking antibiotics and using a nebulizer. However, he still has a heavy cough, and we are monitoring him closely.

We still have unpaid bills for Biscuit and Berlin’s hospital stays. The total for both is $820.

If you can help with any amount, it would mean so much to us—and to them.

𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐂𝐚𝐭𝐬, 𝐓𝐰𝐨 𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐨𝐞𝐬, 𝐎𝐧𝐞 𝐌𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧
Before the war started, we were trying to coordinate with two amazing ladies—Amanda and her daughter Emma—to come to Lebanon and help take some of our rescued cats to safety. The war delayed the plan, but last week, they made it happen.

Amanda traveled to Canada and took with her Freddy, a war victim who became blind from the sharpness of the explosions. He was just three weeks old when we found him. Sadly, his sister didn’t survive. Freddy had to have both eyes removed, and for a while, his health was very critical. Today, thanks to @thepussiepatrol , a wonderful association we deeply love, Freddy is now in a warm foster home, snuggling with his foster mom and enjoying his new life.

Emma returned to Chicago and took three more cats from our sanctuary: Steve, Jerry, and Sodeco. This was made possible thanks to @figandfriendspetrescue , who stepped up during this difficult time and agreed to take them in if we could find travel partners. Emma volunteered to help, and now these three are safe and sound in their new homes.

We want to thank @elise_michele for coordinating everything, and for taking in our cats, and @thepussiepatrol for giving Freddie a new chance. All four cats are doing well.

After these long and stressful journeys, they quickly adapted. They are sleeping peacefully in beds, eating well, using their litter boxes, and cuddling with their foster families.

Unfortunately, we couldn’t raise donations for their travel. We know not everyone understands or sympathizes with these cases, but if you would like to help us, please consider sponsoring part of a ticket.

𝐒𝐢𝐦𝐢 𝐍𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐬 𝐘𝐨𝐮 $𝐒𝐢𝐦𝐢 𝐍𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐬 𝐘𝐨𝐮 Simi was hit brutally by a car. The driver didn’t even stop to check what they had done. This poor cat has been fighting for his life ever since. He is still in critical condition and currently hospitalized. Simi’s body is full of infections. He had a feeding tube placed, but it had to be removed due to complications. He is eating on his own now, but not well, because he is in a lot of pain. His entire jaw and mouth are broken. He had a CT scan yesterday, and another feeding tube was placed. We hope this one will work better. The scan showed many fractures in his skull. His jaw is completely fractured. He will need: • An external fixator to stabilize his jaw, • Braces inside his mouth to help him bite again, • Surgery to fix the damage in his TMJ (temporomandibular joint), which is the joint that lets the jaw move to open and close the mouth. The impact also caused Simi to go blind. One eye popped out and will need to be removed. The other eye might still be saved—we’re not sure yet. There’s blood inside his ears, and we don’t know if he has lost his hearing. The surgeon will confirm this soon. Simi has a very long and painful road to recovery, and we are doing everything we can. But we cannot do this without your help. Please, if you can help us with any amount, it would mean the world. Simi is still fighting. Let’s fight with him.
