Simi was brutally hit by a speeding car while crossing the street. The driver didnโt stop. They didnโt even look back. From that moment on, Simi fought with everything he had. His jaw was completely shattered and severely infected. His little body was full of pain, and eating became almost impossible. He was fitted with a feeding tube, but complications forced its removal. Two more tubes were later placed to help him eat, and he tried so hard on his ownโbut it was still too difficult. Simi also lost his sight. One of his eyes needed to be removed, and the other might have been beyond saving. There was blood in his ears, and we werenโt sure if he could still hear. Despite it all, Simi held on bravely. He stayed stable for a while, but his condition remained critical. In the end, his tiny body was just too tired. With broken hearts, we made the difficult decision to help him cross the rainbow bridge. He passed peacefully, surrounded by love. We will never forget you, sweet Simi. You were so loved.
