Phoenix has been at the hospital for almost a month and a half since the war started. We rescued him from Dahyeh in a very critical condition. At the time, he was extremely dehydrated and weak, and it was impossible to sedate him safely, which meant we could not proceed with a CT scan.
Since then, Phoenix has been slowly getting stronger. He even gained some weight, which gives us hope. But he is still not getting better. He continues to have heavy nasal discharge and still cannot breathe properly. Something is clearly wrong inside, and we cannot treat him without knowing exactly what is happening.
Now that he is a bit stronger, his CT scan is finally scheduled for this Friday. It will cost $390.
This scan is urgent. Without it, Phoenix will not get the treatment he needs and his condition may never improve. We need to understand the damage inside his nasal cavity and what he has been suffering from all this time.
