We had to operate Abby immediately or her infections will lead to sepsis.
Sepsis is a stage where all the body is infected and organs are no longer functioning properly.
Abbyβs blood white cells were extremely high that we had to take her to surgery immediately.
A specialist in anesthesia was monitoring the whole surgery to make sure Abby was stable.
The good part is that Abby made it alive.
The sad part is that Abby was not beaten but shot in the eyeπ
