Peter & Lover went to their weekly checkup.
Lover is doing way much better♥️
He weighs currently 32 kilos and his blood count is way better than before. We will start tapering his prednisone dosage over 20 days.
His last injection for the Leishmania treatment will be on the 30 of November. After this date we can neuter Lover and vaccinate him.
After this date Lover will be available for adoption.
He will only have Zyloric pills to take until February which help maintaining the remission of Leishmaniasis.
On the other hand, Peter’s blood count is still not good. He is still suffering from anaemia.
We are mashing his food so he can eat it properly.
Peter needs an urgent eye enucleation and teeth extraction as both are causing him pain.
Unfortunately we cannot proceed with both surgeries as long as his blood count is still low.
Peter’s mouth is all bloody and all his teeth will have to be removed💔
On a brighter note, Peter gained weight and looks way better physically wise than before.
We need to pay 110$ between vet consultation and CBC. Can you cover this amount?
We will also need help very soon with Peter’s surgeries🙏🏻
