- Description:Simone was part of our TNR program. However, he tested positive for FIV so we could not in good conscience put him back on the streets. He was surely dumped and left to fend for himself then attacked by feral cats who infected him with the virus. We kept feeding him for 5 months to gain his trust so we could catch him and bring him back to the sanctuary with us.
He is extremely friendly, to the point where we thought he was declawed because he never once let his nails out, no matter how many times the vet checked him up, tested him or gave him shots.
Simone is one of the most handsome cats at APC, he is very friendly, cuddly and playful. He constantly asks for affection and has never attacked any cat or human, which means that he can live with other cats without infecting them.
Despite being at higher risk for infections because he is FIV positive, he is healthy, neutered and fully vaccinated. - Notes:Simone is happily adopted in Lebanon . You will not find him at the shelter, we just wanted to share his happy ending with you.
