A year ago, Garfield was surrendered to us after spending a year and a half with an adoptive family who never checked in on him even once. His days with 80 cats left him in a state of depression, gazing at walls, longing for a loving home.
Due to poor nutrition and the weight of his emotions, Garfield was diagnosed with kidney failure at a young age.
Our hearts ached, knowing he may never experience the comfort of a home again.

Three weeks ago, Garfield’s condition took a sharp turn. He almost gave up, but something miraculous happened – he chose to fight! With daily IV treatments, he defied the odds. And today, we have the happiest update – Garfield is no longer at the shelter, but in a foster home!

An incredible lady heard Garfield’s story and generously opened her heart and home to him. We never thought someone would embrace a cat in his condition, but her compassion changed everything. Garfield finally has the home he yearned for, and he looks happy and at peace. Our prayers were answered – he won’t pass away at the shelter, but in the loving care of his amazing foster mom.

We believe in miracles, and Garfield might just be one. But we need your help to support his care. Treating a kidney failure cat is costly, and any amount you can contribute is greatly appreciated.

Let’s rally around Garfield and give him the strength to continue his fight for life. Together, we can make a difference in this brave cat’s journey. Thank you for your kindness and support! ♥️🙏
