Our sweet Dolci, who suffered greatly after being cruelly injured and thrown from a height, has been a fighter through and through๐
It took not one, but FOUR delicate surgeries to repair the significant hole from her injuries. With each procedure, she encountered challenges, including infections and complications from her wounds.
In addition Dolci was so broken๐
She stayed at the hospital for over a month and a half.
And now, we are overjoyed to share that Dolci is finally out of the hospital, her last surgery was a success, marking the end of her surgical journey. ๐๐ฑ
However, the road to full recovery is still ahead.
Our current focus is on helping Dolci gain weight and combat dehydration.
Her diet is limited to soupy, soft foods, as she cannot consume dry or solid foods yet.
Weโre also addressing her heavy diarrhea and ensuring she gets all the care she needs.
One of our biggest challenges now is rebuilding Dolciโs trust in humans.
After all the abuse and neglect she has endured, it is understandable that sheโs wary.
But we believe in the power of love and patience, and weโre committed to earning Dolciโs trust, one day at a time.
