It is with a heavy heart that we share the passing of our beloved Sasha.

Many of you followed Sasha’s journey from the start.

After being struck by a car as a kitten, Sasha became paralysed.

Her condition led us to make the difficult decision to amputate her legs, a choice that ultimately gave her a better quality of life.

But Sasha had megacolon problems and she had to undergo two surgeries before she became stable.

Sasha stayed at APC for two years.

Last year, Sasha, alongside her friends Aiko, Pétale, and Sienna, embarked on a new adventure to a sanctuary in the US @suncatchersanctuary , a place known for its dedication to special needs animals like ours.

This sanctuary became Sasha’s forever home, where she had the freedom to explore, play, and bask in the sun, surrounded by her best friends.

Sadly, Sasha’s battle with megacolon, took a turn for the worse.

Despite the excellent care and love she received, Sasha passed away unexpectedly due to complications from her illness.

While our hearts are heavy with grief, we find solace in knowing that Sasha lived her best life under the sun at @suncatchersanctuary .

It was filled with happiness, love, and the freedom she so deserved.

We cannot express enough gratitude to @suncatchersanctuary for giving Sasha, and our other special needs cats, the chance to live their lives to the fullest.

Sasha, you were loved beyond words and will be missed more than you could ever know.

To our community, thank you for your continuous support and love for Sasha and all the animals in our care.

Your kindness makes all the difference in their lives and in ours.
