This brave mother gave birth to seven puppies under the toughest conditions. Despite the loss of two puppies and three being taken away, her spirit remained unbroken, caring deeply for her remaining sons, Fistok and Bindoq.
Her life took a turn when she endured a brutal attack by a pack of dogs, lasting at least 30 minutes. Severely injured, Quincy managed to escape, and luckily we were able to rescue her and her puppy Fistok, who cried for help watching his mother under attack.
Quincy stayed for couple of days at the hospital, until she overcame her injuries and wounds. After her recovery, she found safety over at APC, where she began a new chapter in her life.
Today, Quincy is a beloved member of our shelter family, residing with both her puppies and eagerly awaiting a forever home. She is a medium-sized dog, approximately one year old, with captivating honey-colored eyes and a gentle demeanor. Her sociability and love for humans shine through every interaction, making her a perfect companion.
We are currently helping Quincy learn to walk on a leash, and she is showing great enthusiasm and progress. Her readiness to trust and love again, despite her past, is a testament to her incredible character.
