Nala was found in the north of Lebanon, and her situation is truly heartbreaking.
She looks like she was breastfeeding but is completely hairless due to severe skin infections. She’s covered in blood from constant scratching and is extremely skinny.
We were contacted about Nala and decided to take her in. Thanks to @thecwsociety , who caught her with a trapping cage and sent her to Beirut, we now have her with us.
Her condition is devastating. She has severe anemia, and she was so scared and in so much pain that the vets had to wrap her mouth just to handle her.
She tested positive for Erhlichia and Babesia.
We don’t yet know her age or the state of her gums and teeth; this will be checked tomorrow.
Because she has scabies, her treatment will start soon. She tested negative for Parvo, but we will isolate her to ensure she doesn’t have it.
We are doing our best to give Nala the care she needs and make her feel loved.
We desperately need your help for Nala. Unfortunately, we have received no donations for Sousou, or for neutering Bindoq and Fistok.
Thankfully, Belle’s vet expenses and Luke’s neutering surgery were funded, but we still need support for the others.
