Beau and Silver went to the hospital for a check-up. They both have a bit of anemia and are extremely terrified, but overall, they are healthy. Beau is estimated to be around 4 to 5 years old, while Silver is about a year and a half. Their gums look good.
After the explosion, both cats were covered in dust and soot from the burning debris. We had to shave Beau.
Thankfully, neither of them are injured. However, they are both extremely traumatized.
Unfortunately, we don’t have an isolated space, so they are currently in a small room, like a bathroom, to help them decompress. Silver had a minor issue with her liver that showed up in her blood test. After an ultrasound, it was determined to be nothing alarming, and she just needs medication for one month. We’ll need to redo her tests later to confirm.
Bo still needs to be spayed, neutered, and fully vaccinated. We would greatly appreciate any help for these two souls.
Additionally, the blind dog is now under our care and currently at the hospital. We will keep you updated on his progress.
