We rescued today two kittens from under a collapsed building in Dahye.

They are about one month old and have sadly lost most of their vision due to severe eye infections. We believe their injuries might be from shrapnel after the explosions. One kitten may need to have both eyes removed, while the other has a small chance of regaining sight. They will start with antibiotics and will see if their vision improves, but we are heartbroken for them๐Ÿ’”

We urgently need your help. If anyone can foster these kittens, it would make a huge difference.

So far, we have rescued three dogs from the southโ€”one is blind and has been shot in the face, a bichon, and a puppy that has scabies and requires care.

We have also taken in four cats from Dahye including those two blind kittens; and have helped financially three families find foster homes for their pets.

We are also providing dry food and wet food to those in need to help feed the cats in the area.

In addition to the animals we have rescued, our own residents are struggling. Harvey has tested positive for FIP, which has devastated us as the treatment is long and very expensive. Tabboush has been vomiting blood and food since the war has started, likely from the stress and trauma of the bombings. He also has a broken teeth. We believe he broke his teeth while running away during the explosions.

We are doing everything we can, even though we are very close to the targeted areas ourselves. But we need your support now more than ever to keep helping these animals. Please consider fostering, donating, or helping in any way you can.
