Cappuccino was spotted by @mashalashelter in the south, and they contacted us to take him under our care.
Sadly, he was abandoned when the war started and left to fend for himself on the streets under heavy airstrikes and bombings. The dust and shrapnel caused severe infections in his ears and eyes.
We couldn’t leave him in such a dangerous situation, so we brought him to the hospital. Thankfully, his blood tests came back normal. Cappuccino has been dewormed, defleaed, tested negative for FIV/FELV, and vaccinated. He is now receiving eye drops and ointment to treat his infections.
Cappuccino is about a year and a half old and is incredibly affectionate. It’s heartbreaking to think how someone could leave such a loving cat in such danger, where he faced the risk of dying or burning alive.
Cappuccino is safe now, but he still needs ongoing care to recover fully. If you’d like to help us continue to care for him and other rescues like him, please consider donating or supporting our shelter. Together, we can make a difference for these innocent souls.
