Tofu is a cat we rescued almost two years ago. He was found in the garbage in a very sad state. His white fur was matted and dirty, and he was terrified. Tofu had lost a lot of hair around his body and was clearly abandoned.
We took him under our care, and with time, Tofu transformed into an amazing and beautiful cat. He grew into a big, healthy boy with a stunning white coat. Despite his remarkable recovery, we didn’t receive a single adoption application for him.
Thankfully, @kitties.in.paris agreed to take Tofu under their care in France and help find him a loving forever home. The night we sent Tofu was incredibly difficult, with heavy bombardment and airstrikes, but we managed to get him safely to France with the help of a generous travel partner who accompanied him on the journey.
