Zara is a stunning Siberian cat who clearly wasn’t born on the streets. She must have had a home once. Sadly, during the war, many pets were abandoned, and Zara was probably left to survive on her own.
We started feeding her, and that’s when we noticed something else was wrong. Zara was drooling and having trouble eating. We feared she had gum or tooth issues.
We also noticed something strange about her tail, so we took her to the vet.
The tail wasn’t broken, but part of it was completely stiff and lifeless. After a vet check and X-rays, we found out why: someone had tied an elastic tightly around her tail, cutting off blood flow. The poor cat’s tail had partially died and it will need an amputation💔
Who would do something so cruel?
The vet confirmed more heartbreaking news — Zara had already lost several teeth, likely removed by her previous family. But the remaining teeth are rotten, causing her extreme pain. She needs urgent dental surgery to remove them so she can eat without suffering.
She will also be spayed during surgery.
Zara was given antibiotics to prevent infection before we proceed with her teeth extraction.
This sweet girl has already endured so much. We’re doing everything we can to give her a second chance, but we need your help to cover her surgery and medical care.
