- Description:Hummus was rescued from Karantina after being the victim of a hit-and-run accident. She was found crying in pain, lying helplessly on the street, slowly deteriorating. Her condition was criticalโboth of her back legs were broken, she was bleeding heavily, and there was a possibility that two of her toes would need to be amputated. She was rushed to the vet, where her injuries were assessed. One of her legs had to be stitched, while the other was severely damaged beyond repair. At just three months old, she was facing an incredibly painful and difficult recovery. Despite everything, she remained strong. After a thorough medical evaluation, the surgeon confirmed that Hummus required two major surgeries. The first procedure, a tibial osteosynthesis on her left leg, was successfully completed. The second surgery is scheduled to amputate her right leg, as it cannot be saved. Currently, Hummus is eating well and maintaining a normal body temperature, but she is still in severe pain due to the extent of her injuries. Despite everything she has been through, she continues to wag her tail, showing an incredible spirit of resilience. Hummus deserves a loving home where she can heal and live comfortably. If you are willing to adopt a special needs dog and give her the care and support she needs, she is ready for a second chance at life.
