- Description:Ada has been living in APC for over 3 years already. She was used as a breeding machine, then dumped when their owners couldn’t take advantage of her anymore. When we rescued her, Ada was emaciated, hairless, had a yeast infection and an abnormal number of other infections. She stayed on antibiotics for a year and a half, but after healing, her infection became chronic. She suffers from time to time from headaches and has to take Apoquel, a cortisone-free medication to treat her allergies which become active during summer. It’s safe to say that she is a fan of winter!
Ada is now a healthy queen, she underwent two abdominal surgeries in August 2022 to remove toys she ate, which is her favorite hobby! She does not appreciate being in the presence of male dogs, and tends to be very territorial around them.
She is healthy, fully vaccinated and spayed.
