- Description:Cleo was used from a very young age as a bait in dog fights. We found him incontinent and paralyzed, dragging himself on the floor. He was very confused as to why he couldn’t move properly, and in excruciating pain. We immediately started his physical therapy to try and give him a chance to walk again.
After a while, a miracle happened, and Cleo started walking using his 4 paws! We were ecstatic, we could barely believe that he finally had a chance to live his life to the fullest!
He had countless hydrotherapy and physiotherapy sessions to make sure he will walk again without any discomfort or pain, and all his efforts paid off!
After his X-ray, we found out Cleo had hip dysplasia on the right hip, and his left hip was severely damaged from being thrown against walls and being bit during dog fights. Keep in mind that he was only 3 months old when we took him in! He had two surgeries to fix his hips in order for him to move without feeling any pain.
After months and months of endless suffering, Cleo is finally back on his feet, running and playing like any other dog. We are so happy with how far this baby went. He has the funniest personality; he is very playful and friendly with people and dogs.
