- Description:Jack “the captain” is one of the most heartbreaking and complicated cases APC has taken on. He was found emaciated and covered in engine oil with a wounded eye. He suffered from severe anemia and had to undergo an enucleation surgery. He was also suffering from Khaleesi Virus, causing an inflammation of the gum, which resulted in having his teeth removed, except his canines.
Jack suffered from renal failure and chronic stomatitis (gum inflammation) from the Khaleesi Virus. He was on daily medication and supplements for his kidneys, including IV injections to keep him hydrated and avoid further renal failure and CBD oil in his kidney specific medical food to prevent gum inflammation.
Jack unfortunately passed away on April 4, 2023. We are heartbroken as we considered him one of the main pillars of APC. We fought so hard but sickness got the best of him; his kidneys stopped working and it was time for him to leave us. We wanted to tell his story regardless of him crossing the rainbow bridge. We hope he is now happier and living the painless life he deserves. - Notes:Jack crossed the rainbow bridge. We hope he is happy and running around freely. We will never forget you captain.
