  • Description:Lyma was living in a home, until she got pregnant and dumped on the street. She was extremely depressed, so she was fostered until she delivered her kittens. She was very affectionate towards her kittens; but once they started growing up, they were put up for adoption, which led her to an even deeper depression for being separated from her babies.
Her fosterer could not leave her at her place any longer, as she already has two cats and was traveling soon. Her original rescuer wanted to leave her at a pet shop. However, because of her depression, her fur was starting to fall off, so they took her to the vet who gave her medication that burned her skin further.
This is when we decided to take her in and bring her to our vet who gave her the appropriate medication to treat her condition. She was isolated for a while and kept on diving more and more into depression. We worked on her wellbeing and mental health until she recovered and was introduced to the other cats.
She does not like being around cats and tries to avoid them as much as possible, mostly sitting by herself. She is however very cuddly and affectionate.
Lyma was happily adopted in France through Kitties in Paris, she is healthy, fully vaccinated, spayed and FIV negative.
  • Notes:Lyma is happily adopted in France. You will not find her at the shelter, we just wanted to share her happy ending with you.
