- Description:Nouga was found in the Sodeco area. She just gave birth to 3 kittens and was breastfeeding them on the street. Two of her kittens disappeared and the third was adopted. Nouga stayed on the street and was fed daily by our volunteers. However, we found her extremely skinny one day and her hair was falling.
We discovered that she was kicked in the eye, and this is when we decided to save her from the street and take her to APC. She was first taken to the vet, who prescribed eye drops, but we were unsure if she would be able to see again. She was isolated due to her fungus and treated for ear mites until she could join the sanctuary.
Her healing process was long and hard and she was at risk of losing her eye forever. Her vision is not perfect but we are happy she can use both of her eyes now. She is a lap cat who likes to be approached and would not approach anyone on her own. She has low energy levels and lots of love to give to the lucky adopter who will accept to take her in.
Nouga is healthy, fully vaccinated, spayed and FIV negative.
