- Description:Sky was a very cuddly stray cat who used to regularly visit a family living on the ground floor. He suddenly disappeared for a week and came back covered in wounds; his skin was mutilated, shot in the face, the eye and the ears, and someone stepped intentionally on his leg.
Sky’s treatment took a year and a half. He had to undergo two major surgeries accompanied by continuous treatment for a duration of 18 months. His health was absolutely catastrophic; he had constant diarrhea, we had to give him skin graft to close the wounds where he was mutilated and he had to spend countless days at the hospital.
He was very traumatized at first and would hide from people, but he learned to trust a few humans again, even though he is still shy and cautious around them. Sky is not aggressive at all; he is rather scared and anxious around people. He is a very calm cat who can also be cuddly when he completely trusts the person he is interacting with.
Sky is now healthy, fully vaccinated, neutered and FIV negative. He still has a small wound that will not need a third surgery if it does not get bigger. He is big chunky cat who cannot wait to meet the patient and loving adopter who will be lucky enough to have him.
