- Description:Teddy was roaming the streets of Baabda, literally looking like a skeleton. He was extremely emaciated, and we heard about him from a woman who wanted to give him vitamins. However, he disappeared, only to be reported to us again being tied under the pouring rain with nothing to protect him from the cold.
We rushed to help him and keep him warm. We dried him and bought him a hoodie because he was skin and bones, he couldn’t even walk properly due to his extremely low weight. Once all his tests were done, it turned out that he was dangerously anemic and that he had every worm he could have in his guts. Thankfully, he tested negative for infectious and tick-borne diseases, so he did not have to be isolated for too long.
Once he started eating properly, he gained a lot of weight, which was a good sign because he was at risk of hospitalization at any moment.
Teddy is very friendly with humans and dogs; he loves playing and giving affection to everyone he meets.
Sadly, we noticed that he knew all the basic commands, which proves that he used to live in a home before being left out to die on the streets.
He is now healthy, fully vaccinated and neutered.
