Our Amazing Testimonials

We adopted our dog from APC a year ago They are an incredible organisation who are amazingly supportive to both the adopters and the animals in their care The first time our dog wagged her tail was at APC where she finally enjoyed the love, kindness and care that she had been denied in her early life They tirelessly worked to nurse her back to health, both physically and mentally. Once we had agreed that we were a suitable family for her to live with, they made all the arrangements for her travel and vaccinations. After she arrived to the UK we had a few issues with her adjusting to her new life and they were always there to help and support us. They are an amazing organisation, so selfless and caring. We are forever thankful they saved our dog, who is now a part of our family and we could never imagine living without her now.

I have been helping APC for over a year and was recently lucky enough to travel to Lebanon. I visited this amazing shelter/ sanctuary and brought back with me a dog and a cat who now live in Canada. Razane, who founded this shelter 3 years ago, along with the team of kind-hearted volunteers, are 150% dedicated to helping animals in need. Dogs, cats, rabbits, turtles, birds..any creature being mistreated, dumped or abused- and unfortunately there are many in Lebanon - who is lucky enough to find a place at APC is absolutely blessed!! It will be cared for with the utmost dedication! APC is a FANTASTIC NGO, worth donating to without any doubt!!

I first came to know Rasane and APC in 2022 when they asked us to find homes for some disabled cats in the UK. It seemed far fetched that a rescue in Lebanon would want to go through all the hassle and expense to get animals to homes in the UK, but I quickly realised they were not your average rescuers. Rasane does everything to a high standard including the care of the cats. Her sanctuary is lovely and she cares deeply about all the residents. If you are looking to support a reputable rescue or adopt a cat. Please choose APC.

I adopted Amira (Bella) from APC in July of 2021. Amira is a blind special needs dog and was APC’s first ever dog rescue! Not only did they teach her how to be loved for the first time in her life, but continue to care for her and ask about her till today. When you adopt a pet from APC, you immediately are welcomed as family. Thank you APC for saving her life and making mine full of Amiras love!

Gosh, where to begin, I don’t think I’ll ever have the right words to express my love and gratitude for Razane and everyone at APC. I fell upon this amazing organization when I found a Facebook post about adopting dogs out of lebanon into other countries to give those pups their second chance at life. And right away i saw bruno (roughly 3 year old golden mix with no eyes, week hearing and smell due to a horrible/shooting situation ) and arvin (blind German Shepard roughly 9 years old with an autoimmune disease) And right there and then I knew this was fate. I was meant to meet Razane (virtually) I can’t wait to one day meet her in person 🙂 . But within a few months we managed to get bruno and arvin out of lebanon and to here in Canada! The process was smooth, they kept me up to date constantly with any details or changes. And now a year later they are truly part of my family. Who continue to help me with my boys every chance they can. I would recommend APC time and time again if you’re ever looking to donate or rescue dogs and/or cats! We love you APC, Love from Bryanna, Arvin and Bruno

I have had the pleasure of knowing Alyarz Pet Club since 2021, when I came across a husky girl named Emi at the rescue. I was deeply touched by her story, the depressing background she was found, and how her life changed for the best at APC. I teamed up with them to find her a forever home in this part of the world where I live. I cannot express enough how impressed I am with the incredible work being done there, how dedicated and compassionate Razane and volunteers are. It’s very clear that the well-being of the dogs & cats in their care is their utmost priority. The facilities are clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed to provide a comfortable and enriching environment for the dogs, cats and other animals at the rescue. They have toys, blankets, beds and, most importantly, plenty of love and attention from each of the volunteers. I was particularly moved by the tireless efforts of the team to rehabilitate and socialize dogs who had experienced trauma or neglect, preparing them for their second chance at a happy and fulfilling life. After our first husky rescue from APC, we partnered with them to help a couples more huskies with challenging disabilities. One was our sweetest Stormy who had lost an eye and a limb, and also had terminal cancer. It brings me joy and comfort, knowing he got to live his final months at APC, spoiled by the volunteers who took him out hiking, camping and celebrated his life every single day. It was the most humbling experience to watch from far the detailed care, love and support he got. 🥲 APC also prioritize education and outreach within the community. Their dedication to promoting responsible pet ownership, spaying and neutering, and the humane treatment of animals is making a tangible difference in the lives of countless dogs in Lebanon. I am grateful our paths crossed and feel honored I could be a tiny part of their mission, in spite of living so far away in the US. For anyone seeking to add a furry friend to their family, I cannot recommend APC highly enough. Not only will you find a loving and loyal companion, but you'll also be supporting an organization that is truly making the world a better place for animals in need. I highly encourage you to adopt, donate or volunteer and support their incredible work! ❤️
