It is with heavy hearts that we share the devastating news that our little Arya has passed away. Despite the best efforts of the medical team and her own will to live, her fragile body could not handle the severity of her injuries.
Arya was a fighter; she battled through a traumatic ordeal that left her with deep wounds, a broken shoulder, and internal damage at the age of 2 months. Although stable after surgery, she struggled to eat and continued to vomit.
We had dreams for Aryaβdreams of her running joyfully through fields alongside Mulan, both free from their painful pasts.
But, unfortunately, fate had other plans, our hearts are broken knowing she will never have the chance to play and grow old.
In her short time with us, Arya touched many hearts and she will not be forgotten. Her struggle has profoundly impacted our mental health, reminding us of the harsh realities of animal abuse.
We are certain that justice will be served to the person responsible for Aryaβs suffering, in this life or the next. Despite extensive inquiries, his identity remained unknown.
Karantina is a home to over 500 stray dogs, many of whom are unfamiliar to us. Among them was Aryaπ
Weβre committed to making a positive impact in Karantina. Our efforts have begun with a small district, working to improve the living conditions for the dogs.
Gaining the trust of these dogs is essential, as they live in packs and their acceptance is crucial to our efforts. Although we cannot save or protect every dog, we pledge to do everything we can to ensure they are healthy, not hungry, and happy.
