Originally rescued from a pet shop where he was suffering in a tiny cage, Batman was saved by a kind lady. Unfortunately, the boarding facility where he was placed afterwards failed to provide the care he desperately needed.
Upon arriving at our sanctuary, Batman was in poor health, extremely underweight, and had a noticeable limp.
After a consultation with the neurologist, it became clear that nothing could be done to correct his limp.
Batman suffers from brittle bones, a condition that is an inheritable disorder resulting from unethical and excessive breeding.
But here’s the best part of his story: Batman found a forever home with one of our amazing volunteers @decile.j
He is now living a happy life, surrounded by love and care. Although his health challenges remain, his quality of life has significantly improved.
