Celine was intentionally stepped on and kicked in the hip when she was only one month old. She was unable to walk, and her hip was completely displaced.

After numerous physiotherapy sessions, Celine regained her ability to walk without needing surgery♥️

An amazing lady from Germany fell in love with Celine and did the impossible to bring her out of Lebanon, even as most airlines were canceling flights due to the turmoil in our country.

Celine is finally in Germany. Her family is so in love with her and finds her hilarious. She has a brother and always makes sure to steal his food during meal times.

🚨𝐄𝐗𝐓𝐑𝐄𝐌𝐄𝐋𝐘 𝐄𝐗𝐓𝐑𝐄𝐌𝐄𝐋𝐘 𝐔𝐑𝐆𝐄𝐍𝐓🚨
Lover was rescued two years ago from an incredibly painful situation. He was just skin and bones, suffering from a broken leg that required five surgeries in one. He had also Leishmaniasis, needed a blood transfusion, and was covered in ticks. Despite all of this, Lover fought through and recovered his health. He became a happy, healthy dog, bringing joy to all of us.

But about a month ago, we noticed his eyes becoming blurry, turning a bit white and reddish. We took him to the ophthalmologist, and he was put on eye drops, but things only got worse.

He started to lose his vision, struggling to see even his food. We tried to help by guiding him with the smell of his meals💔💔

Today, we received devastating news. Lover has Leishmaniasis again, a deadly and very difficult disease. In some cases, Leishmaniasis can get reactivated if the dog’s immune system becomes weakened like in the case of Lover.

Its treatment is long and expensive.
We are heartbroken💔

We don’t want Lover to lose his sight.

To save his vision, Lover needs urgent medication that is not available in Lebanon. We need to bring it from abroad, and it is extremely costly. The treatment requires 20 boxes of a drug called Glucantime, with each box costing $90. He will need DAILY: 3 injections for six weeks and 2 pills of Zyloricfor three months.

The pills are available in Lebanon and will cost $57 to cover the whole treatment.
If we manage to bring the Glucantime from Europe, it will cost a total of $1,800 - an amount that we do not have😭

We are begging for your help.

𝐇𝐞𝐥𝐩 𝐍𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐞𝐝: 𝐁𝐞𝐧𝐣𝐢’𝐬 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 𝐢𝐬 𝐃𝐞𝐜𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐑𝐚𝐩𝐢𝐝𝐥𝐲 𝐀𝐟𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐁𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐛𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐍𝐞𝐠𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐝
Benji, a sweet and gentle bichon, is less than a year old. He was found in a village, wandering the streets with a collar around his neck, desperately begging people for food.

Despite his friendly nature, Benji was in terrible shape. He was filthy, his fur matted with dirt, wood, and debris.

People were disgusted by him, fearing he might have scabies, so they avoided him at all costs. While Benji would run towards humans, longing for love and care, they would run away from him.

It’s heartbreaking to think that someone could abandon such a young, innocent dog on the streets.

Benji didn’t know how to fend for himself. He had no idea where to find food, and he would run dangerously close to cars, unaware to the risks.

His condition was so poor that his fur was full of painful thorns—how he managed to sleep on the streets like this is beyond us.

Even more concerning is that Benji seems to have something wrong with his eye. We don’t know if he was kicked or if it’s an injury from something else, but it’s clear that he needs urgent care.

Despite living in such filth and barely having enough to eat, Benji never lost his trust in humans. People would sometimes leave him a bit of food and water, and for that small kindness, Benji was grateful. It’s amazing how dogs, even after being abandoned and mistreated, continue to have faith in us.

We couldn’t turn our backs on Benji. He broke our hearts, and we knew we had to help him.

Now, Benji is under our care. He is very dehydrated, and his fur is so matted that it needs to be shaved. He desperately needs a bath, deworming, and nexgard.

We also need to have him neutered, and most importantly, we need to have his eye checked by an ophthalmologist to see if there was any damage.

We need your help to cover Benji’s medical expenses and to give him the care he deserves.

Peter was with us for two years. He was rescued with severe and chronic stomatitis—a condition that left his mouth in terrible shape.
He could barely eat, drink, or even breathe, but despite everything, Peter was a fighter. He faced every challenge with incredible strength.

After two long years of battling his condition, Peter underwent a diode laser treatment that gave him some relief. For the first time, he was able to drink, breathe, and even eat dry food—something we never thought possible. It felt like a small miracle, and we had so much hope for him.

But Peter wasn’t a lucky cat when it came to his health. His immune system was weak, and he soon contracted mycoplasma. We treated him with antibiotics, and for a while, it seemed like he was back to his usual self. Then, two days ago, everything changed. Peter suddenly stopped eating, and we rushed him to the emergency room. His blood test results were devastating—his organs were inflamed, and his condition was critical.

We left Peter in the hospital’s care, hoping for the best. But just three hours later, Peter had fallen unconscious, and the doctors suspected he had developed dry FIP, which had attacked his brain. He was in a coma, with only his heart still beating.

He could no longer breathe on his own. The hospital tried everything, but it was clear that the end had come.

Late that night, we went to the hospital and held Peter in our arms as he was euthanized. Even if we hadn’t made that choice, removing the breathing tube would have meant he would pass immediately.

It was a sudden, heartbreaking loss for us. Peter had been so strong, surviving so many obstacles.
Losing him was one of the hardest things we’ve ever faced. The pain never lessens, no matter how many times we go through it. Peter wasn’t just any cat; he was family. Just four days ago, he was on our lap, purring.
This sudden collapse has left us in shock. We weren’t ready to say goodbye. We know Peter is in a better place now, but the shelter feels so empty without him.

We miss him terribly. Peter was part of our lives, and his absence is felt in every corner of the shelter.

𝐔𝐑𝐆𝐄𝐍𝐓 𝐇𝐄𝐋𝐏: 𝐁𝐋𝐈𝐒𝐒 𝐖𝐀𝐒 𝐎𝐍 𝐀 𝐒𝐔𝐑𝐕𝐈𝐕𝐀𝐋 𝐌𝐎𝐃𝐄
Bliss was found on the street, terrified and shivering, desperately running towards humans for shelter and protection.

Sadly, not everyone welcomed her; some people even threw water at her to drive her away.

Bliss had not only been dumped and abandoned, but she was also cruelly de-clawed.

For those who may not know, de-clawing a cat is a barbaric practice that involves the removal of a cat’s claws, leaving them defenseless. It’s not just about the loss of claws—this procedure can lead to severe complications, including chronic pain, behavioral issues, infections, and problems with the cat’s paws.

Despite our efforts to find someone to foster Bliss, no one came forward to help her. We couldn’t bear the thought of her remaining on the streets, unable to defend herself against humans and other feral cats. So we made the decision to take her in ourselves.

Unfortunately, Bliss is not in good health. Her blood tests revealed severe dehydration, and she has been vomiting large amounts of worms, which raises concerns that she might have ringworm. Right now, Bliss is in the hospital, receiving IV fluids to rehydrate her and stabilize her condition. We also plan to perform an echogram to check if she has been spayed, and if not, we will spay her once she is healthy enough to undergo the procedure.

We urgently need your help to cover Bliss’s medical expenses. She will need deworming, defleaing, and close monitoring to ensure she doesn’t vomit worms again.

We don’t know how long she will need to stay in the hospital to recover fully, but we are committed to doing everything we can to restore her health and give her a chance at a better life.

We are thrilled to share some wonderful progress about Nala. Thanks to the dedication of our amazing volunteers, like @tamarasaade_ , Nala has shown significant improvement.

Her hair has grown back beautifully, she’s getting healthier, and she’s gained some much-needed weight.

The best part? Nala has finally let us touch and pet her!

Although she is still a bit wary and not fully confident with us yet, we are overjoyed that she no longer growls or feels scared when we are near her.

She even had a playful moment, which made us so, so happy.

We understand that Nala still has a long road to recovery. She will need another test to check if the parasites are gone and a blood test to ensure she’s on the right track.

She also requires medicated baths to help her skin heal. We are taking things one step at a time, without pushing or pressuring her.

Our main goal is to make sure Nala is happy because she truly deserves it.

Today, Sousou had her first chemotherapy session.
She is doing fine so far, but we are closely monitoring her to ensure she doesn’t vomit or lose her appetite.
Sousou has at least six to eight more sessions to go, with one session scheduled per week.

Each session, including a necessary blood test before chemotherapy, costs $140.

Thanks to your generous support, we were able to secure the first session.
However, we need your help to ensure Sousou receives her second session, scheduled for next Wednesday.

After her last checkup and biopsy, we were relieved to learn that the tumor on her liver was benign.

However, because mammary tumors can be very aggressive, we took Sousou for another checkup after one month, hoping for the best.

Unfortunately, the news was not what we had hoped for. Ultrasound revealed that Sousou has an enlarged lymph node.

Sousou will have another ultrasound and blood test tomorrow before she starts chemotherapy💔💔

We had been holding on to the hope that a miracle might spare her from this, but it seems that chemotherapy is not something we can run from anymore and Sousou will need at least 6 sessions (one session per week).

Each session will cost $140 including blood tests.

We know for a fact that Sousou is very strong, but we are heartbroken to see her facing this challenge💔 and that she hasn’t received much in donations.

Perhaps it is because she doesn’t show visible signs of pain, but her struggle is real, and she needs our help.

We still have an outstanding balance of $1,000 from her surgery, and her recent checkup, including the ultrasound and consultation, cost $110.

We are reaching out to ask for your support in covering at least this amount.
