Django started as the sweetest stray, running to people for play and cuddles.

Over time, a constant head tilt and unresponsiveness to calls was noticed.

A visit to the vet revealed that Django is deaf and his deafness may have been caused by a head injury or an ear infection.

Deaf cats face challenges on the streets, so Django became a cherished APC resident.

He thrived, becoming the happiest and most sociable cat in our care.

Then, one of our dedicated volunteers, @christellehasbany, who was embarking on studies in Belgium, decided to adopt him.

Django initially felt anxious, understandable for a deaf cat, but he’s now basking in the love and attention of his new parents.

Django, you’ll be dearly missed, but we’re overjoyed you’re with one of our own.

And to @christellehasbany, we wish you the best of luck in Belgium – you’ve been an exceptional volunteer, and we’re confident our paths will cross again♥️🐱
