We found Tuna, a small Terrier, hiding under the bushes by the river in Karantina, in the same area where we feed the dogs. He was shivering so badly, more than we’ve ever seen before—terrified, cold, and weak. His skin looked strange, and his body wouldn’t stop trembling.

It was so hard to get him out. We had to call for help just to reach him under the bushes. When we finally did, we rushed him straight to the hospital.

@dogtor.eddy , the dermatologist, ran a culture test (we’ll have results in 72 hours). At first, we thought it was scabies, but it’s not. His blood test showed severe anemia. His teeth are damaged, some need extraction, others need scaling.

Then, during his check-up, we noticed something worse. One testicle is much bigger than the other, most likely a tumor. We did an ultrasound, and the results didn’t look good💔

We urgently need to do a CT scan to see if the cancer has spread and it costs $450. We need to act fast🙏🏻Please help us.

𝐏𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡𝐨’𝐬 𝐒𝐮𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐔𝐩𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞
Patcho was diagnosed with Radius Curvus Syndrome, a very complex condition that required a delicate and expensive surgery. The procedure needed custom-made tools and a 3D guide designed specifically for him.

Thanks to @100.ferdinand and many generous donors, we were able to raise most of the $2,220 needed for the surgery. We still need $590 to fully cover the cost, but we decided to proceed with the surgery to give Patcho the best chance.

The surgery was a great success! In less than 24 hours, Patcho started walking on his leg. For now, he must rest for one month. He can walk a little, but he cannot run yet, as there is a risk of the plate breaking.

First, thank you so much for helping us with her emergency CT scan and surgery today.

Tilda is out of surgery and awake. We removed a large tumor along with her spleen, but unfortunately, the cancer has spread. She has nodules in her lungs and another area that cannot be removed. This type of cancer is very aggressive, and her life expectancy is sadly no more than six months💔

Chemotherapy won’t help, so she will be on palliative care instead.

We have switched her to holistic food and supplements to support her health. She has the best foster mom, who will love and care for her until the end. So far, Tilda is still her happy, playful self, jumping around like a butterfly. She shows no signs of pain, and we will monitor her monthly to track the cancer’s progress.

We are heartbroken but determined to give her the best life possible. We hope and pray she lives much longer than expected.

We still can’t believe someone abandoned her in the middle of Karantina, where she could have been poisoned or attacked by other dogs. Did they know she had cancer? We may never know, but we will make sure she feels nothing but love and care from now on.

𝐌𝐢𝐜𝐡𝐨 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐌𝐢𝐥𝐚: 𝐖𝐚𝐫 𝐒𝐮𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐯𝐨𝐫𝐬
Micho and Mila, along with their parents Zoe, Zuri, and Zoro, are war victims. They were found collapsed near their home, extremely skinny, sick, and confused by the constant airstrikes. Their house had been destroyed, and their caretaker was forced to leave. Sadly, she couldn’t take all the cats with her. There were more, but they disappeared—we don’t know if they survived.

Whenever there was a break in the bombings, she would return to leave food, but it was never enough. We decided to take the whole family under our care. Unfortunately, their sister Mocha didn’t make it—she had severe pneumonia.

Micho and Mila were hospitalized for many days. Thankfully, they survived and found a loving home in Lebanon!
As for Zoe, Zuri, and Zoro, they reunited with their caretaker after she rebuilt her home when the war ended. They are now happy and safe with her—much happier than they would have been in a shelter.

🚨 𝐔𝐑𝐆𝐄𝐍𝐓: 𝐓𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐚 𝐍𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐬 𝐄𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐲 𝐒𝐮𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐫𝐲🚨
Tilda, a senior rescue dog, was recently diagnosed with a large cancerous mass on her spleen. The CT scan also revealed lung nodules and another mass on her abdominal wall, confirming that the cancer has already started spreading💔

The biggest danger right now is the tumor on her spleen, which is an aggressive cancer. It could rupture at any moment, causing internal bleeding and putting her life at immediate risk.

To save her, she needs emergency surgery on Monday, and we must raise $600 in just TWO days to make it happen.

We cannot delay this surgery—her life depends on it.

We will discuss post-surgery treatment options for the other metastatic tumors💔

The case file for the poisoning of the Karantina Port dogs has been transferred from Al Nahr Gendarmerie station to the General Prosecution. Yesterday, we met with the prosecutor, and he has now moved the file to the Detective Division in Beirut for further investigation.

We really hope this leads somewhere.
We have suspects, but we don’t have proof.

Unfortunately— and not that surprising— the security cameras just happened to be obsolete on the exact day the dogs were poisoned.
What a coincidence!

𝐔𝐩𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐮𝐫

𝐔𝐩𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐫 𝐝𝐨𝐠𝐬:
1- Ada’s gallbladder is very inflamed. She will take antibiotics and have a change of food.
Also, since we rescued her, and Ada suffers from chronic skin infection that affects her ears. Her ears are currently full of pus, and she will need a cleaning surgery because she experiences severe pain when we try to clean them.
Since she will be sedated, we will also do a teeth scaling to prevent any future abscesses, especially since she is in good health now.
Ada’s surgery will cost $300 + $175 (checkups) = total of $475 to raise.

2- Brook’s CT scan results came back from Europe. Thankfully, all his nodules are benign. We are still missing $635.

3- Tilda has 3 tumours probably aggressive💔 This is a devastating news for us. She needs to do a CT scan TODAY to determine if the tumor has metastasized. We need to raise $350 TODAY to cover the cost.

Tilda also lives in a paid foster home, and we pay $150 per month for her care. We are stretched too thin and desperately need support. If you can help with this expense, it would mean the world to us and to Tilda💔🙏

4- Additionally we have received ZERO donations for their physiotherapy & hydrotherapy sessions, which cost $45 per session every week for each dog. This is a total of $540 per month.

Apparently, senior dogs are not a priority for many people; otherwise, we would have received donations for Tilda, Ada, and Brook.

Please help our senior dogs. We won’t give up on them, and neither should you. Every contribution makes a difference! 🙏

𝐏𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡𝐨 𝐍𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐬 𝐔𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐒𝐮𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐫𝐲 – 𝐇𝐞𝐥𝐩 𝐇𝐢𝐦 𝐖𝐚𝐥𝐤 𝐖𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐏𝐚𝐢𝐧!
Patcho has a growth abnormality in his leg due to an injury he suffered while living on the streets of Karantina. When we rescued him as a puppy, everything seemed normal. But as he grew, we noticed he was limping, and a bump started forming around his leg.

After a checkup, the vet diagnosed him with Radius Curvus Syndrome, a condition caused by trauma, likely from being hit by a person or a car. His bones didn’t grow properly, leading to pain and difficulty walking.

To proceed with his surgery, Patcho needs a CT scan and 3D printing guide, which costs $1,320. The CT scan will provide a detailed image of his bones, and based on this, doctors will 3D-print a guide, a special tool that helps the surgeon correct his leg with precision.
After that, custom implants will be ordered for €600. These metal plates will be imported and prepared based on the 3D guide.
Finally, once everything is ready, the surgery will be scheduled, costing $300. During the procedure, the implants will be placed in Patcho’s leg to align his bones properly and relieve his pain.

The total cost of the procedure is $2,220. Radius Curvus is one of the most complicated and expensive surgeries, but it’s the only way for Patcho to live without pain.
