Dolci’s Post-Op Update

𝐃𝐎𝐋𝐂𝐈’𝐒 𝐏𝐎𝐒𝐓-𝐎𝐏 𝐔𝐏𝐃𝐀𝐓𝐄
Our sweet Dolci, who suffered greatly after being cruelly injured and thrown from a height, has been a fighter through and through💔

It took not one, but FOUR delicate surgeries to repair the significant hole from her injuries. With each procedure, she encountered challenges, including infections and complications from her wounds.

In addition Dolci was so broken💔

She stayed at the hospital for over a month and a half.
And now, we are overjoyed to share that Dolci is finally out of the hospital, her last surgery was a success, marking the end of her surgical journey. 🎉🐱

However, the road to full recovery is still ahead.

Our current focus is on helping Dolci gain weight and combat dehydration.

Her diet is limited to soupy, soft foods, as she cannot consume dry or solid foods yet.

We’re also addressing her heavy diarrhea and ensuring she gets all the care she needs.

One of our biggest challenges now is rebuilding Dolci’s trust in humans.

After all the abuse and neglect she has endured, it is understandable that she’s wary.

But we believe in the power of love and patience, and we’re committed to earning Dolci’s trust, one day at a time.

We want to thank every single one of you for your support, prayers, and love for Dolci.

It’s been a tough journey, but seeing Dolci’s progress makes it all worth it.
