Foul was hit so hard, likely by a car, that his eyes popped out, and he suffered fractures all over his face and head. A CT scan revealed a large hematoma inside his brain.
We placed a feeding tube to stabilize him and give him a chance at surgery, but sadly, Foul was too weak. Despite all our prayers and care, he couldn’t fight anymore.
He started having non-stop seizures. The surgeon gave us until the end of the day to see if he would stabilize, but the seizures continued. We had to make the heartbreaking decision to let him go.
We held Foul in our arms, hugged him, and told him how much we loved him. At least he didn’t die alone on the street, in pain and scared. He hope he felt loved and cared for in his final moments.
Foul is yet another victim of reckless driving. Please, please drive responsibly. Every life matters.
