Even though we are on the brink of war, with everything becoming more expensive, we face an uncertain future in this crisis. People are dying around us, explosions are constant, and the world feels like it is falling apart.

Yet, despite this chaos, we couldn’t turn a blind eye to this severe case.

Cajo was a friendly stray cat, loved and fed by the neighborhood. But one day, he disappeared. When he finally returned, he was in a heartbreaking state—sick, extremely skinny, and with a horrific wound on his jaw.

He started vomiting every day, suffering from severe diarrhea and not eating. He was so dehydrated that his body was shutting down.

We immediately took Cajo under our care. After a vet exam, we received the devastating news: Cajo had been cruelly hit by someone with a metal object. His injury wasn’t from a fight with another cat—it was a violent act by a human. His jaw was severely damaged, the wound was filled with pus, and his skin was nearly gone, exposing the bones. It was horrifying.

Not only that but also Cajo was diagnosed with FIV AND FIP😭
His condition is alarming.

His blood test results were terrible, and he was so dehydrated that the whites of his eyes and his gum had turned yellow.

FIP treatment is extremely expensive. Each vial that Cajo needs daily costs $54, and he will need it for 42 days. Can you imagine how much that will cost?

That’s why we are trying to get medication from overseas, whether from Russia or India, where it is much less expensive than here in Lebanon. But for now, we have to buy Remdesivir from the pharmacies, and Cajo needs one vial per day.

Cajo is now on IV fluids to keep him stable. He is fighting for his life in the hospital, but he desperately needs your help. His medical bills are piling up, and we cannot cover them alone.

We need your help. We couldn’t say no to this case. But honestly, we were not prepared for how expensive it would be. Still, we will do everything we can to give him the best care, just like we do with the other rescues.

So please, please help us. We need you more than ever, and Cajo needs you more than ever🙏🏻
