We have very sad news about Peach.

Her CT scan results came back, and they confirmed what we feared most: Peach has an aggressive and rare form of bone cancerโ€”most likely osteosarcoma, centered in her right front paw. Sheโ€™s only a year and a half old, and this kind of cancer is extremely rare in cats her age.

The tumor destroyed the bone in her paw. The tissue around it is completely gone. There is no way to save the leg. The only option is to amputate the entire leg to stop the pain and prevent the cancer from spreading further.

But thatโ€™s not all.

The cancer has already spread to her lymph nodesโ€”specifically the axillary, mediastinal, and sternal ones. The vet will be able to remove the first two, but the sternal lymph node is inside the chest, and removing it would require another critical surgery that may not be possible.

After the surgery, Peach will start chemotherapy. The lymph nodes that are removed will be examined with a special test to measure how fast the cancer cells are spreading. This will help us understand how much time we may still have with her๐Ÿ˜ญ

Peach is still young, still full of love. We are devastated. But weโ€™re not giving up on her.

Please help us raise funds for her urgent amputation surgery, lymph node removal, and treatment. Even though we cannot save her leg, we can still save her lifeโ€”and give her a chance to live pain-free, even if only for a little while longer.

Please help us give Peach that chance.

This is Matcha. Sheโ€™s not even one month old. And yet, her little body is already fighting for life.

She was probably bought from a pet shopโ€”one of those โ€œcuteโ€ kittens bred and sold for their looks. A temporary toy for a family that wanted the image of a perfect pet. But when Matcha got sick, when she stopped looking pretty, they didnโ€™t take her to the vet. They threw her on the street.

What we found was shocking.

Matcha is skin and bones. Her fur is matted, her face and body covered in fungus and fleas. The infection was so bad it ate away part of her tail. And as if that wasnโ€™t enough, she had two huge abscesses on her belly, filled with pusโ€”likely caused by bites or untreated infection. The vets were horrified. They cleaned her wounds, but still couldnโ€™t believe what they were seeing.

And then came the blood test.

Matchaโ€™s hematocrit was 10. That means her body barely has enough red blood cells to carry oxygen. No cat should be alive with numbers this low. Yet she was. Weak, in pain, but still breathing.

She tested positive for a mycoplasma infection, which can affect the lungs and make her even more tired and weak. Sheโ€™s negative for FIV, FELV, and calicivirus. But none of that matters if her little body canโ€™t hold on.

The only good sign? She ate and drank when she arrived.
We are giving her 48 hours. If she worsens, she will need a blood transfusion to survive.

Matcha is not just a kitten. She is a victim of cruelty, of neglect, and of a world that values appearance over life. She didnโ€™t ask to be born. She didnโ€™t ask to be sold like a product. And she didnโ€™t deserve to be thrown out to die.

But she is here. And we will fight for her.

We want to share the latest update about the Karantina dogs fighting distemper.

Pancho, Stella, and Bryanna are now safe. They are staying in a clean and isolated foster facility. We are paying $600 each month to cover everything: food, foster fees, shoe covers, gloves, detergent, and disinfectants to keep their room safe.

But we have heartbreaking news too.

We couldnโ€™t raise enough money to place Muffin and Salman in foster care. We had no choice but to return them to the street.

Muffin looks better now. We were able to spay her, because we donโ€™t want her to get pregnant againโ€”especially while she still carries the virus. Her eyes still has some secretion, but the hospital said she no longer needs to stay. We simply have nowhere else to put her.

Salman and Muffin are still sick and need antibiotics, but there is no one on the street who can give them their pills. We are watching them closely. If they get worse, weโ€™ll take them to the hospital again. But we feel helpless.

Then thereโ€™s Foxy. She looked weak, dehydrated, and had green discharge from her eyes. We took her to the hospital and the PCR test confirmed distemper. She is now being treated in the clinic.

But again, weโ€™re out of funds.

If we donโ€™t raise more donations, we wonโ€™t be able to pay for Foxyโ€™s hospitalization. And we wonโ€™t be able to help any more dogs in need. If we receive more support, we can at least put the recovered dogs into foster care, and keep them safe from going back to the streets.

Please help us keep these dogs alive. Muffin and Salman shouldnโ€™t be on the street. Foxy needs to stay in the hospital. We are doing all we can, but we canโ€™t do it without you.

Please share and donate if you can.

Peach has been with us since she was a kitten. We found her mother and six newborn kittens on the road and took them all in. Peach is now around one year old.

Two weeks ago, we noticed she was limping, so we took her to the vet. We thought it was something minor, like a sprain. An X-ray showed no fractureโ€”maybe just some inflammation. The vet gave her anti-inflammatory medication and asked us to come back in two weeks.

Two days ago, we did a follow-up X-ray, and what we saw was shocking. The toe that seemed inflamed now shows almost no bone leftโ€”it looks like itโ€™s dissolving ๐Ÿ’”
The vet said this isnโ€™t normal, and during the check-up, he also noticed something wrong in her chest. Another X-ray revealed something suspicious in her lungs.

Peach now urgently needs a CT scan that costs $351. The vet suspects a rare and aggressive conditionโ€”possibly a pulmonary adenocarcinomaโ€”that may have started in her lungs and spread to her toe. It could be a genetic mutation, and it might not be treatable๐Ÿ˜ญ

Weโ€™re terrified. Peach is a happy, healthy cat who eats and playsโ€”and suddenly this. She will definitely need her toe amputated, but first we must do the CT scan as soon as possible.

Weโ€™re asking for helpโ€”please keep Peach in your thoughts and if you can support her medical care in any way, it means the world.

Indy is a street dog weโ€™ve been feeding in Karantina for the past five monthsโ€”ever since she was born.
Her mother was hit by a car and, sadly, didnโ€™t make it. Of a litter of seven puppies, only Indy and two siblings survived. The third passed away recently๐Ÿ’”

Two weeks ago, we found Indy badly burned, with a broken leg and severely underweight. She canโ€™t walk properly and is constantly being attacked by other dogs.

Thanks to one incredibly generous donorโ€”our backbone in moments of urgent needโ€”who covered the initial amount to help us remove her, and to two other amazing donors who contributed the rest, we were able to get Indy to the hospital. We are hoping the total cost wonโ€™t exceed $1,200๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป

Catching Indy wasnโ€™t easy. We tried many times and failed. But there was one momentโ€”just one secondโ€”where it was all or nothingโ€ฆ and we finally did it.

Indy is now hospitalized and on IV.
She is extremely shy and terrified๐Ÿ’”
She tested positive for Erhlichia.

She also has a gastrointestinal infection and is currently being treated while we wait for the surgeonโ€™s evaluation on the leg surgery.

Thank you so, so much for caring about Indyโ™ฅ๏ธ

Elvina has lived in our shelter for four long years. She came to us as a tiny kitten with her siblings. Their mother was adopted three years agoโ€”but Elvina and her brothers were left behind.
Sheโ€™s now one of our oldest, most forgotten residents.

Just days ago, Elvina stopped eating and could barely lift her head. At first, we thought it was a dental issue. But test results revealed something far worse:
Elvina has severe anemia caused by FIPโ€”a deadly virus that kills slowly if not treated.

Sheโ€™s been hospitalized for a week now.
She urgently needs a blood transfusion to survive, and it breaks our hearts to see her lying there, weak, pale, and barely moving.

Her bill has already reached $500, and thatโ€™s only for her hospital stay and tests. The actual FIP treatment hasnโ€™t even started yet, and itโ€™s long, expensive, and intense.

We are truly sorry for this late appeal. Weโ€™ve been overwhelmed with the distemper outbreak in Karantina. But Elvina canโ€™t wait.

Please, help us save her.
She has fought for a place in this world for four years. Donโ€™t let her life end now, when she needs us most.

We received yet another threat about an โ€œaggress We received yet another threat about an โ€œaggressiveโ€ dog in Karantina, time about Biscuit. She was brought here from another area with her eight puppies after a man threatened to kill her there. Sadly, it seems no matter where she goes, people want her gone.

Our volunteers have been caring for her. Sheโ€™s extremely friendly and trusting. Weโ€™ve also been treating her wounds, injuries caused by men who threw rocks at her.

This is what we face every single day in Karantina: countless threats against so-called โ€œaggressiveโ€ dogs, just as aggressive as our little Biscuit.

We have the original voice note from the man who threatened to kill her, but weโ€™ve chosen not to share it for now, as his full name is mentioned..

All we ask is for compassion. If you cannot help these dogs, please, at the very least, donโ€™t hurt them ๐Ÿ’”
Update on Our Distemper Dogs We have a bit of good Update on Our Distemper Dogs
We have a bit of good news to share. The dogs we vaccinated are doing well. Some are showing green discharge after the vaccination, but theyโ€™re still eating and full of energy, which gives us hope.

Unfortunately, we havenโ€™t received enough donations to move more dogs to the hospital or provide them with the proper care they need to fight distemper. As you may know, thereโ€™s no cure for distemperโ€”only supportive care to help them stay strong and fight through it.

Pancho, Stella, and Bryanna have been discharged from the hospital. They are now in a paid foster facility where they are kept in isolation. The cost for all three is $600 per month, covering foster fees, gloves, shoe covers, disinfectants, food, water, and everything they need to stay clean and safe.

Salman is still at the hospital and may be released in two days. But unless we receive enough donations to cover his foster care, we will have no choice but to return him to the street. He needs to remain in isolation for three full months. Without the necessary funds, we simply cannot place him in foster care.

The same goes for Muffinโ€”we have no place for him and no means to cover his foster expenses.

Caring for just three dogs is already costing us $600 a month. If we can raise more funds, weโ€™ll be able to place both Salman and Muffin in safe, paid foster homes where they can be properly isolated. Otherwise, we will have to return them to the streets. Weโ€™ll still monitor them closely and take them to the hospital if needed, but itโ€™s not the same.

With distemper, even if a dog looks better, he can relapse at any timeโ€”even after two months of appearing fine. Thatโ€™s the heartbreaking reality of this virus.

We truly hope we can raise enough to keep Salman and Muffin safe and cared for over the next three months.
So much is happeningโ€”it breaks our hearts to see them like this, to even consider sending them back, and to not know what more we can do.

Pleaseโ€”any amount helps. Even $1 or a simple share of this post can make a real difference.
Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for being here for them.

Mr. Grey has been on a feeding tube through his nose. Thankfully, after stabilizing him, he has started eating on his own. The feeding tube is still in place, just in case he relapses.

We did an ultrasound for his kidneys, and they look much better thanks to the IV fluids. The infection in his intestine, pancreas, and liver is also improving. However, his intestines are still not fully healed.

His blood biochemistry, especially the albumin/globulin ratio, looks better nowโ€”so we are slowly moving away from the idea that he has FIP. However, his hematocrit levels have dropped, which is concerning. He will stay at the hospital under close monitoring.

So far, Mr. Grey is more stable, has a normal temperature, and we are especially happy that he is eating on his own again.

Please keep him in your thoughts. If you can help with his hospital care, we would be truly grateful. We havenโ€™t received the full invoice yet as heโ€™s still hospitalized, but the cost has already reached $355 and continues to increase.

Thank you for caring๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป
