Our rabbits have been dealing with persistent diarrhea, and Eyeliner is still struggling with a stuck poop causing inflammation.
All 6 rabbits were taken to the vet, and thankfully, they’re in overall good health.
They’ve been diagnosed with an early stage of coccidia, a bacterial infection causing the issue.
To tackle this, we’re treating the rabbits, rooster, and chicken, as they share a living space, using medication in their water for 7 days and a follow-up treatment for 4 days.
We’ve also added fodder to their muesli diet.
With the assistance ofΒ @razan_kataya, we’re striving to enhance our rabbits’ quality of life.
We’ve set up a wall-mounted hay feeder to keep their hay clean.
The vet bills have amounted to $218, covering spot-on treatments, deworming, consultation, medications, and rabbit food.
