‘It doesn’t matter, she’s a cat’ – this is what the driver said when he ran over Pétale and we tried to stop him.

Pétale is a 4 months old kitten whom we used to feed during our feeding programs in Beirut.

Pétale was running to her food when this devil decided not to stop but instead step on the kitten – because why not?
Who cares about her?

It took us 2 hours under the rain to catch her as much as she was extremely traumatised and scared, dragging her legs under the rain trying to protect herself from humans.

We immediately took her to @canicat.clinic and we cannot thank them enough for opening their doors at 11 pm on a Sunday night.

Unfortunately, there’s nothing we can do to make her gain back her legs.

Not only that but Pétale will never be able to pee or poop on her own. Meaning if not rescued she would’ve died an awful death all alone.

We urgently need donations to put her on a special food, start her physiotherapy sessions and cover her expenses at the hospital.

We are overwhelmed with cases and we already have a paralysed cat Sasha.
We cannot afford the additional expenses and we couldn’t just turn a blind eye on the situation.
