Everyone now is aware of the national crisis that occurred a week ago when a ‘rescuer’ decided to dump ALL her dogs on the street.
This was a massacre‼️
Being betrayed by their ‘rescuer’ is one thing, but dumping them with severe skin issues, highly contagious to other dogs and extremely weak and underweight is another‼️
All NGOs and individual rescuers came hand in hand to save whats possible to save.
Dogs are so heartbroken.
The itch from mange is so painful and excessive where their skin is wounded.

One of our dogs that we pledged to care for, tested positive for Leishmania – a deadly disease if untreated on time.
We are taking our dogs one at a time to the hospital.
Since all dogs are sick and contagious, hospitals are not able to welcome them all at once. They are at full capacity.
As you noticed most of our cases are special need cases or with chronic diseases.
This means our monthly expenses are already so high.
Being burdened 𝐒𝐔𝐃𝐃𝐄𝐍𝐋𝐘 with many dogs that have lots of infections, physical and emotional trauma; has overwhelmed us especially with the current deteriorating situation and lack of resources.
But how can we say no to the apparent suffering and need of the dogs.
We did not budget this and our funds are so limited.
Up until now three of our dogs are at the hospital; one tested positive for Leishmania.
These dogs have a 𝐋𝐎𝐍𝐆 & 𝐄𝐗𝐏𝐄𝐍𝐒𝐈𝐕𝐄 treatment and during all this time they need to be isolated.
We are crying out for help.
The initial approximate cost to care for each dog is 𝐔𝐒𝐃 𝟑𝟎𝟎 for the first month and 𝐔𝐒𝐃 𝟐𝟎𝟎 for each subsequent month they are cared for.
Those who need a surgery or a Leishmania treatment like Haven, their cost might reach 𝐔𝐒𝐃 𝟔𝟎𝟎 for the first month.
