Originally rescued from a pet shop where he was suffering in a tiny cage, Batman was saved by a kind lady. Unfortunately, the boarding facility where he was placed afterwards failed to provide the care he desperately needed. Upon arriving at our sanctuary, Batman was in poor health, extremely underweight, and had a noticeable limp.
