Every day was a challenge, with cortisone injections and multiple surgeries that sadly didn’t bring relief.
Despite everything, nothing has eased the inflammation in his mouth.
His severe case of stomatitis made breathing a struggle.
Nevertheless. Peter has shown incredible strength. His doctor is still amazed on how he is still alive.
Peter chokes every day, and our only hope was the diode laser that treats the inflamed mucosa, reduces pain, and stimulates healing within the mouth; making it an ideal treatment for stomatitis.
This laser treatment represented our final hope for Peter’s survival.
At last, the diode laser machine was delivered to the hospital, and Peter underwent his first session.
This innovative treatment will help clear the blockage in his throat, giving Peter a chance to breathe and eat easier.

Peter may need a session every month, depending on his reaction to the laser treatment.
He is still recovering from this first session and had to stay couple of days at the hospital.
He finally started to eat and was discharged.
Peter’s journey is far from over, and he will need ongoing treatments.
We now have hope that Peter will live longer and maybe (maybe we’re dreaming) we can find him an amazing home for this strong fighter cat.
