- Description:Murray, a stray we’ve been caring for, recently began experiencing severe pain while eating.
We took him to the hospital and it revealed he needed all his teeth extracted due to severe gingivitis.
Murray had also breathing difficulties.
Shockingly, further examinations showed signs of trauma – it appeared he had suffered a diaphragmatic hernia, possibly from being kicked.
A diaphragmatic hernia happens when organs from the abdomen move up into the chest💔 - meaning someone kicked him and his organs are in the wrong place!
His condition was critical, and an urgent surgery was needed.
Thankfully, both surgeries were successful and he was neutered too.
Murray is also negative for FIV/FELV.
Murray is the sweetest cat you can ever meet. He adores to sit on your lap and knead.
Murray is unhappy at the shelter and we really wish we can find him a home as soon as possible.
