Dear friends and supporters,
We find ourselves in a critical situation here in Lebanon. The threat of a major war looms over us, and the impact is already being felt.

Last week, a strike hit a building, resulting in tragic loss of life. We’ve been constantly hearing the terrifying sound of planes overhead.

It feels like an explosion, shaking the entire building as if it were an earthquake.

At APC, we care for 135 residents, including cats, dogs, birds, rabbits, turtles, roosters, and more. We also have many dogs placed in paid foster homes.

The situation in Lebanon has become dire, with supplies becoming increasingly scarce and prices increasing. Almost everything is imported, and we’re already facing shortages, especially in essential items like food and medication.

Our immediate goal is to raise $14,000 to stock up on necessities for the next two months.

This amount will help us secure enough food, medication, supplements, deworming treatments, spot-on flea treatments, fuel for our generator (as we have very limited electricity), and other essentials to sustain our shelter.

Our monthly expenses, excluding surgeries and hospital care, are $7,000, so we are desperately trying to prepare for this uncertain future.

We are terrified of what may come, but we must act now to ensure the safety and well-being of our beloved residents.

We are pleading for your support—every donation, no matter how small, can make a difference. With your help, we can buy bags of food, litter, medication, and more to keep our animals safe and cared for.

Please, please consider helping us during this critical time. Your support means everything to us and the animals we care for. We pray for peace and safety, but we must be prepared for any emergency.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
