In these difficult times, we managed to evacuate 5 of our cats and 5 of our dogs from Lebanon to France.

Four cats were taken in by @kitties.in.paris , for which we are deeply thankful, and they are now in foster homes.

One cat went directly to his forever home.

Five dogs have also found their forever homes, thanks to the help of the amazing @patounes_sans_frontieres .

We were terrified that they would be stuck here in Lebanon, as our shelter is so close to Dahye, where the bombings and explosions are happening daily. The constant noise is making our animals sick, leaving them scared and shaking.

Thanks to our amazing travel partners, we were able to fly them to safety, despite so many canceled flights. MEA was our only option, and after countless canceled tickets due to overbooking, we were finally lucky enough to get them on a plane. Now, they are safe—that’s what matters most.

We are heartbroken that we couldn’t give them a proper goodbye. We had to move so quickly, rushing them to our travel partners and leaving immediately before the roads to the airport were bombed. It wasn’t the farewell we had hoped for, but knowing they are out of danger brings some relief.

We want to thank again our incredible travel partners who helped get our babies to safety. We couldn’t have done this without you❤️

Once things calm down, we will share more about the individual stories of these pets, but for now, we are focusing on getting through each day. We hope to find more people willing to foster or adopt the animals still under our care, as we don’t know when this war will end or if we will even survive it.

For now, Alma, JJ, Luke, Nougat, Fistok, Ace, Quincy, Tofu, Cleo & Frisbee are SAFE🙏🏻

Please, if you can help in any way, let us know. Our animals deserve to be safe, and we need your support now more than ever.
