He fought so hard. He was blind, deaf, and incredibly strongโa true fighter. Despite everything, despite all his fractures, he kept holding on. We believe Simi was waiting to feel love and safety before he let go.
The situation was always critical, but stable. Yesterday, things started to worsen. He was in pain and struggling to breathe. The vets advised it was best to help him cross the Rainbow Bridge, and we agreed. We stayed by his side. He was kissed, hugged, and loved until his last breath.
Simi likely never knew love before. He was a stray. Someone hit him with their car and didnโt even stop. But thanks to @beirutpethospital , especially @nadiyamakary , he finally felt what it means to be cared for. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
Simi left this world knowing he mattered.
