We said goodbye to Stormy today. It was something that we knew was coming but it doesnβt make it hurt any less. Storm spent his last days with us living life to the fullest. He was spoiled by not only our love and care but all of your love and support too. Storm was feeling unwell since Monday. He suddenly stopped moving. Cancer was eating his beautiful legs. It was so hard when he is mentally there and totally fine but his body was failing himπ His last day was a very happy one. It was so peaceful. He managed to stand, to walk. He wagged his tail a lot and had a happy faceπ₯Ή We filled his last day with snuggles, kisses, and lots of chicken and whipped cream. He left with us by his side. He didnβt feel any pain and our vet made sure it was a quick and peaceful departure. Stormy is now pain freeπ We know a lot of peopleβs hearts will be aching reading this update – we are devastated. His loss has really taken a toll on us. Our hearts are broken, heavy, and empty. We appreciate everyone who has reached out with love and support during his last days at APC. Apologies to everyone who asked to see him and couldnβt. Storm was shot on his face and body and lost vision in one eye. He also had one amputated hand. Storm was also diagnosed with three types of cancer and nothing could have been done in his caseπ It was already too late when we found him. Goodbye Stormyπ We canβt believe that we will never get to hold you and kiss you againβ¦ Life is so unfair sometimes. We wish we could have had more time together. We hope you enjoyed the last days you had in this world with us. You will always be in our heart. We love you SO MUCHβΌοΈ
