Since the war started, Tabboush has been extremely anxious. We gave him CBD oil, but his anxiety caused him to eat too fast and then vomit. It got worse, and he started vomiting blood. We rushed him to the hospital, where they found a lot of food stuck in his stomach. He stayed for one week at the hospital under monitoring, but things didn’t improve.
Our shelter is five minutes away from Dahyeh, and with every airstrike, we hear everything, and the whole shelter shakes. This made Tabboush’s anxiety worse, and he continued eating too fast and vomiting blood. This caused him to injure his stomach and develop a painful ulcer. His pancreas also became inflamed due to the excessive vomiting.
Tabboush is currently in the hospital receiving treatment, but we urgently need to find him a foster home and financial support to cover his medical expenses.
We are unable to isolate Tabboush because all the isolated rooms are currently taken by rescues from Dahyeh and the South. We urgently need someone to foster Tabboush and provide him with small amounts of food throughout the day to prevent him from eating too fast. He also needs to be away from the shelter, as the bombings happening right next to us are making his anxiety worse. Please help us find him a foster home where he can feel safe and recover.
Tabboush is a cat who was hit by a metal object that displaced his jaw, and was also burned on his side.
Any help you can provide will make a difference.
Thank you🙏🏻
