We had to pinch ourselves to make sure we weren’t dreaming, but it’s true. Tommy has experienced a miraculous recovery.
Tommy’s past was filled with heartbreak. He was abandoned multiple times, until the last family left him on their rooftop with minimal food, water, and no protection from the sun for several months. Heatstroke took a toll on his heart, resulting in a diagnosis of heart disease and a lifetime of medication.
We were told that the heart couldn’t mend, but somehow it did. It’s still hard to believe. We shed tears of joy and screamed with happiness. Tommy is no longer sick. His heart issues have vanished, something we thought couldn’t be fixed. This was supposed to be a lifelong battle, but miracles exist, and love and care have proven to be powerful healers.
We aren’t magicians; we simply provided him with proper care. Tommy underwent regular checkups, including echocardiograms, X-rays, and blood tests. And astonishingly, his heart looked fine, blood tests were normal, and X-rays showed no abnormalities. We couldn’t have asked for better results. We are filled with immense gratitude.
What’s ironic is that when we first rescued Tommy, we received numerous adoption applications due to his “pure-breed” status. However, the moment we revealed his heart condition, all those interested parties disappeared. It’s a shame, but we’re delighted to announce that Tommy is officially healthy and no longer requires daily medication.
