Lollipop, a war victim, has undergone 2 surgeries after being severely injured by a nearby explosion.
In a panic, he jumped off a building and broke all the bones in his paws and jaw, and losing most of his teeth.

He couldn’t walk, and by the time we found him two weeks later, his condition was critical.

Lollipop had a mandibular shaft fracture, meaning his lower jawbone was broken. The surgeon repaired it using a C-LOX system, a special technique to stabilize the bones. Thankfully, there was no infection, so they were able to place a metal plate to fix the jaw.

For his paws, which suffered from a bilateral metacarpal bones fracture (meaning both front paws were broken), the surgeon used the Dowel technique to repair the bones. This delicate procedure involved inserting small pieces of bone to help the broken areas heal and grow strong again. This surgery was critical for Lollipop to regain the ability to walk.

Though his surgeries were very complex and took around 6 hours, they were successful!
Lollipop’s journey is far from over, and we still need help covering his medical expenses.

We’ve already paid $450 for his tests, X-rays, and CT scan, but the cost of his surgeries and continued care is significant.

Any donation, no matter how small, will help.
