Sousou is a stray cat we rescued from the streets because she had a large tumor on her stomach and was close to dying.
We had to do a blood transfusion to help her survive the surgery.
During the surgery, we found that cancer had spread to her liver, spleen, and intestines.
We removed the tumor and sent a sample for a biopsy, and we are now waiting for the results.
Unfortunately, mammary tumors in cats are very aggressive, and her doctor expects the tumor to come back.
Sousou will need chemotherapy sessions, but we cannot start until we get the biopsy results.
We urgently need $1,000 to cover her surgery and hospitalization costs, plus another $60 for her ultrasound.
The ultrasound showed her liver is improving, but there’s still an issue that requires chemotherapy.
Sousou is eating and has gained some weight, but we still need to pay off her surgery, hospitalization, and ultrasound bills, and soon, her chemotherapy sessions.
